In My Awakening

This year has been an emotional roller coaster for I have a dear friend who is courageously embracing the end of his life. Myself and my other good friends who know him well find ourselves in complete shock as he among all of us was the healthiest and it appeared like he would be the last one standing. Cancer is such a mysterious intruder.

I recall several years back during the time my marriage was ending when emotions were very raw

Doubt is always creeping in the corner of each decision we make in life. Especially those decisions which feel so lofty and important. Deep down we know our own heart and life is doing its best to teach us to listen to our own guidance.

A child in a hospital once told me that chemotherapy felt like having an earthquake inside them. This comment surprised me so I asked, "what do you mean"? The quick reply was, "it is like the ground is shaking inside you". 

I then asked sincerely, "what does one do when the ground feels like it is shaking inside you?"
