Our 2026 Thailand SEVA Group
Noi & Karl
Bringing people together
Oceanside, CA & Chiang Mai, Thailand
We said yes to this trip because of you. Bringing people together, enjoying each other and making a small difference along the way is how we wish to spend our life, time and energy.
Sharing Thailand with our friends is a deep passion. It brings pure joy to our hearts that you decided to join us. Even knowing about the many wonderful communities and experiences that await, the best part of these trips is connecting and getting to know the caring individuals that participate. Thank you and see you in Buddhaland.
…………
Noi and I spend three months each year in Chiang Mai. It is our time to be with family and time to expand our community outreach in the village and throughout Thailand.
Our time in Thailand is a relaxing time of year where I can also enjoy our home and have the time to write new songs. Our home in the village is where the song Buddhaland was inspired. Karl
Kathy
Giving Back
Kathy Okawa - Seattle, WA
I am excited to join the Thailand SEVA Trip because I love immersing myself in the new cultures and connecting with the local people.
Giving back to the community-whether through helping animals or supporting people-brings me a deep sense of purpose. I also value meeting like-minded inficiduals on the trip who share this philosophy and enjoy building new friendships. As a veterinarian, I'm especially looking forward to seeing the Elephant Sanctuary in Chiang Mai and the work that is being done there.
Donna & Mike
Adventure in Thailand
Donna & Mike Stott - Holly Springs, GA
MIKE: We love you Karl and have wanted to do the trip a long time. Timing works and a bonus is having our friends the Krolls and Wendie and maybe others would make it a trip from heaven!
DONNA: See Mike's statement - ditto on that. And - If I am ever going to do this is needs to be sooner rather than later! I've never been to Asia before so it will be a unique experience for my life.
Looking forward to seeing you in January!
Joni

The reason I said YES: The beauty and spirit of Thailand and the people we will be visiting (temples, orphanages...), the friends we would be traveling with, the service (singing!), the food, and The ELEPHANTS!!!

Yenny
Appreciation
Yenny Ho - Fisherville, KY
I'm originally from Venezuela and my husband is originally from Vietnam, so having a multi-cultural home has always peaked my curiosity about other cultures and developed a deep sense of appreciation for our oneness and the beauty of different traditions.
We have always wanted to make a stop in Thailand, but haven't had the chance yet, so I'm super excited to be going on this SEVA trip to get to know and serve the community.
Karl's music along the way is definitely a big plus. We are spiritual beings having a human experience, and what an amazing experience this will be!
Can't wait!
